The Linx SR Series embeddable GPS module provides a complete high-performance GPS receiver solution. The module features an integral ceramic patch antenna which lowers cost and eliminates the need for any additional RF components. The module’s SiRFstar III low-power chipset minimizes power consumption and provides exceptional sensitivity, even in dense foliage and urban canyons. Housed in a compact reflow and RoHS compatible SMD package, the receiver features an on-board LNA and SAW filter, and requires no additional RF components. Programming is not required and the module’s standard NMEA data output makes the series easy to integrate, even by engineers without previous RF or GPS experience.
