Linx MS Series Encoder

The MS Series encoders and decoders are designed for remote control applications. They encode the status of up to eight buttons or contacts into a secure serial output intended for transmission via a wireless link. The large address size makes transmissions highly unique, minimizing the possibility of multiple devices having conflicting addresses. MS Series parts feature low supply voltage and power consumption. The MS also allows the recognition of individual output lines to be easily defined by the manufacturer or user. Decoding is accomplished by a matching MS Series decoder, which also identifies and outputs the originating encoder ID. Housed in a tiny 20-pin SSOP package, the MS Series is not only powerful but also easy to implement.
